ABOUT THE TUTORIAL

The tutorial I have made is on the spawn archetype entity. I chose this node because I found it interesting in what it does, and it also helped in my assignment. I wanted to have an object make a track around my steps wherever I walked around in the environment. Because there wasn’t much out there on how to do what I wanted to do, and when I did find something, it was similar but not exactly what I wanted to do and also it wasn’t clear and didn’t explain it very well. I spent time with all the tutors trying to get that node to work, testing out different things and then finally got what I was after.

In the tutorial I explore the ways that I have learnt to use the node and go through it in detail on how to make a flowgrapgh. The tutorial is about making an object follow the player around and create a trace of where his been.
I start by showing how you should export an object from Google sketch up into crysis and adding the object to the data base as a basic entity, then creating a flowgrapgh which makes a track that follows the player around when a button is pushed and stop it when another button is pushed. It allows you to choose how often you want the object to follow you as you walk around, and it also rotates with the player as he turns.

The reason I chose to do this tutorial is that it was something new that I learnt and found it really interesting. I did my assignment on it and did have a little difficulty with it. So i decided to base my tutorial video on the flowgrapgh I used and to show people how to do it easily and step by step without them getting confused.
And once they know how to do this. They then can import other objects or even use the objects inside crysis and do the same thing.

A way to show understanding was to produce this tutorial which allows users to move the next level where they can be creative in producing their own effects and expanding in their knowledge on crysis. It uses a number of different nodes in the one flowgrapgh but also doesn’t complicate things and is easy to learn how to do it.

ADOBE PREMIER TEST

I recorded a few videos and put them together as one to get use to using Premier,
